Cancellation & Refund

This facility allows merchants & customers to cancel a transaction and initiate refunds, online.

TECHPRO INSTANT PAY™ seamlessly integrates with merchants’ websites to process cancellation requests and enables an easy-to-implement cancellation process with minimum manual intervention.

Additionally, our easy-to-use Admin Module allows merchants to initiate a refund at any time.

Customer – Initiated Requests:

  • This facility is available only if the goods purchased by the customer have not yet been shipped
  • The Customer visits the merchant’s website and selects the transaction to be cancelled
  • Merchant website passes on details of the cancelled transaction to TECHPRO INSTANT PAY™
  • TECHPRO INSTANT PAY™ processes the request and will refund the amount to the customer, two days after the cancellation request is forwarded to it

Merchant – Initiated Requests:

  • In case the merchant is not in a position to execute the order due to insufficient stocks, customer cancellations, or any other reason, he can cancel the transaction and initiate a refund via the TechProcess Admin Module
  • The Merchant logs on to the Admin Module and flags ‘Refund’ option for the transaction that he wishes to cancel
  • TECHPRO INSTANT PAY™ processes the request and will refund the amount to the customer, two days (*) after the cancellation request is forwarded to it

(*) provided TechProcess has the required amount in its pool account. Otherwise TechProcess shall wait to receive the amount from the merchant, after which the refund request will be cancelled
